M2SA was established in 2001 by Mark & Becky Stewart. Mission to Serve Africa has a rich history of missions in Africa, including work in Namibia and South Africa. Our journey began with a focus on building schools and training teachers to foster community growth. Over the years, we have expanded our reach and deepened our commitment to sustainable education.

The Stewart's have worked in Africa since 1986, serving first on a short-term mission assignment to Swaziland and South Africa, visiting Zimbabwe and Namibia as well. In 1988 they moved to Namibia, working at an orphanage for a year then helping plant a multi-cultural church in the capital city, Windhoek. This church became a ministry center for the work in Namibia, with Namibia School of Theology and a preschool which served the community. After living in Namibia for 9 years, the Stewart's returned to the U.S. for further training and schooling for their children.
In 2003, Mark and Becky returned to the mission field, working in Durban, South Africa. Here they partnered with AEE (Africa Educational Enterprises). Mark had oversight of curriculum development and academic quality, working with the government to make sure standards were met. This allowed Mark to work with many schools throughout Africa, traveling to remote places such as Madagascar. Becky was very involved with starting preschools, where she helped locate new preschool sites, facilitate training for teachers, and supply the schools with the necessary curriculum and equipment.
Presently, Mark & Becky live in the US and visit the M2SA partners in Africa every few years. They continue to provide training for teachers, curriculum for schools, and giving financially toward feeding and building programs through the generous donations and support to Mission to Serve Africa.

At Mission to Serve Africa, we focus on establishing sustainable educational venues across Africa. Our programs aim to provide quality education that is affordable and accessible, fostering community development and leadership skills. Join us in making a lasting impact on the future of countless children and educators.

Zezito and Tia work tirelessly in their community, as well as throughout Namibia. They have established primary and secondary schools, churches, feeding and farming projects, and leadership programs for teachers and pastors.

They have devoted themselves to the care and nurturing of street children. They provide ongoing education, mentoring, and recreation for them through structured programs at a youth facility. They also provide rehabilitation programs for young men who struggle with drug and alcohol addictions.
